Debbie joined the Percy Thomas Architects branch in 2000, becoming an Associate in 2007 and Associate Director in 2022. Based in ESA’s Cardiff Studio, Debbie is Interior Design Team Lead and manages the delivery of interior design and space-planning across multiple specialist sectors, including Healthcare, Education and Defence.

Debbie has extensive knowledge and a detailed understanding of the strict design criteria and regulations associated with such complex and challenging working environments; and regularly facilitates engagement sessions with clients and stakeholders, to tease out project-specific objectives that formulate our design brief and resulting proposals.

She has practical knowledge of both the Public Sector and Commercial projects. Through her design and management experience in projects of various scale and sector bias, Debbie has become adept at all stages of the design process - from concept to construction. She is currently responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams on fit-out, refurbishment and urban design projects.

As part of her management role, Debbie is responsible for managing her team but also has wider responsibilities, that include commercial and resource management.
